Skechers Soars to Record Q3 Sales Thanks to Direct-to-Consumer Boom

Navigating the choppy waters of the COVID-19 pandemic with agility and innovation, Skechers turned in a record-breaking third quarter in 2022, driven by a surge in direct-to-consumer sales.

The Manhattan Beach, California-based footwear giant posted net sales of $1.88 billion for the three months ended September 30, 2022, an increase of 19.5% compared to the same period last year. This marks Skechers’ highest quarterly revenue in the company’s history.

Robert Greenberg, Skechers’ chief executive officer, attributed the company’s success to its strong omnichannel strategy and the unwavering loyalty of its customers. Greenberg noted that Skechers experienced double-digit growth across all distribution channels, with direct-to-consumer sales leading the charge.
