“CIFF has a truly unique opportunity to drive change through community. CIFF is so much more than biannual fairs – it is a knowledge platform gathering players across brands, buyers, and the media with a clear purpose of propelling Danish and Scandinavian fashion down an even more sustainable, competitive, and digital path,” said Dolva, regarding her appointment as head of the professional event, which held its last edition between August 10 and 12.
Dolva, a graduate in business administration and commercial law from the Copenhagen Business School, is taking over the fashion platform after having held the position of chief commercial officer of the innovative beauty brand Lulab for two years. She was previously responsible for different divisions within the L’Oréal group for five and a half years. She will be succeeding Christina Neustrup who, after two years in charge of the trade fair, is stepping down to become CEO of the jewelry firm Kinraden.
“We are investing in the CIFF to make sure that not only will our trade fairs and permanent showrooms remain best in class, but our efforts to establish and nurture relations between brands, buyers, and press both nationally and internationally will increase by the way of innovative approaches digitally as well as physically,” added the newly appointed director, about the upcoming challenges she will face as head of the fair.
Launched in 1993, CIFF is considered one of the leading professional fashion events in northern Europe, with a strong focus on Scandinavian design, innovation and sustainability. From February 1-3, 2023, CIFF will celebrate its 30th anniversary with hosting its 60th edition in Copenhagen.
