In the medium term, La Redoute Italy intends to launch new development projects in the country by workng on the marketplace, but also on its physical presence, which could involve opening pop-up stores and shops.
Today, the company says it achieves more than 35% of its sales abroad, compared to 30% in 2020. “Our international development model is tried and tested. After having established the French brand, we will accelerate thanks to our new subsidiary,” says Philippe Berlan, La Redoute’s managing director since last year.
The e-tailer’s other subsidiaries are located in Belgium, the UK, Switzerland, Portugal and Spain. The export activity has been supervised since January by a new international director, Emmanuelle Cartier.
